Baby Back Ribs - Crockpot

This is my favorite way of making “fall off the bone” ribs without much effort.  Literally season ribs and place in the crock pot, add the “pop” of choice and walk away...come back to fall off the bone ribs ready for sauce and a quick finish under the broiler.

Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Biscuits Delight Sausage is a go-to for making Sausage Gravy and Biscuits at our house. Yes, I “cheat” and buy Pioneer Gravy Mix and Pillsbury Frozen Biscuits to make it come together very quickly, but the flavor is great and the family is happy whether it be a warm breakfast or a “breakfast for dinner” meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shannon Family Farms Biscuits Delight Sausage

  • 1 pkg. Pioneer Powdered White Gravy Mix (just add water)

  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury Frozen Buttermilk Biscuits

  • Ground Pork - Biscuits Delight or Any Other Flavor

Carnitas - Easy Crockpot Tacos

I LOVE carnitas and we often have quite a few pork shoulder roasts.  Making carnitas is a great way to use up a roast in a non-traditional way.  Many flavors come together to create a tasty filling for flour or corn tortillas, tortilla chips, or a healthier taco salad.  Be sure to broil the meat just before serving for a few nice crispy bites mixed into the moist pork. Best part, it’s crock pot so fix it and forget it until just before dinner.

Slow Cooker Mozzarella-Stuffed Meatballs in Marinara

Looking for a tasty main dish that makes enough to feed a crowd or a meal for your family with enough to also place a few in the freezer?  These meatballs are amazing and pretty easy to put together! Enjoy alone or on top of pasta/spaghetti squash noodles. Nothing beats cutting into these meatballs and finding a tasty bit of mozzarella inside as a surprise.

Italian Sausage Sandwiches

Do you love Italian sausages on the grill, but winter is here? Fix these easy sandwiches with just a few ingredients.

Cook the sausages in the electric skillet with about a 1/4 cup of water, turning often. Once they have started to cook, add in onion and green pepper. Cook until internal temperature is 165 degrees. Remove lid and turn up departure to brown each sausage. Slice them down the center and lay out on a sub bun. Top with warm marinara or pizza sauce, onions, peppers, and mozzarella cheese.

Compliment this sandwich with a side of buttered noodles or a side salad.
